well I only got to drive my car for a week before I went for vacation so it only has 2000 km on the clock and here are the issues till now
at 200 km I noticed some smudges on the driver side mirror so I took it in to the dealer and they said it needs to be changed and that it would take them a full day to do it so I passed on that till I get back from vacation at around 400 km noticed a loud "thung" sound coming from the rear right wheel area and connected the sound with the suspension called the dealer and informed them about it and they said they will look into it when they fix the mirror issue at around 1500 km I started getting these messages when I start up the car that said (excessive battery discharge) I never really cared about them since the car starts up ok and rides perfectly and its not constant that I get them everyday. will let the dealer know but they will probably do nothing at 1990 km the right rear led strip thats located on the trunk was not working a small handy job got it all fixed that's all till now ... am not totally satisfied but am happy with what god gave me and I love this car soo much that I wouldn't let these things bother me

X6 50i. Dealer called and said I need to bring in the car for a computer service update. Did not specify for what.
We have a lot of bumps in the roads here and noticed that the seats occasionally make slight rattle over bumps. I am very sensitive to noise so it does bother. Like MeEmZ, I noticed small smudge in the side mirror. So far I can only thank God as well. |

2008 X6 35i - 3 months old and 8200 miles (13,200 km for our International friends). Not a single squeak, rattle or hum. Drives beautifully and I LOVE IT!

742 Miles on ours today and NOT ONE ISSUE...But that does not surprise me. This is our 3rd new BMW since 04 and all of them have been perfect, Including a 04 745 ( A car that the press said was prone to problems )

2008 X6 35i - 5,700 miles - no issues whatsoever. Ordered another during the first week of June - trading the current one in on the one I originally wanted with my preferred options. Dealer has big issues on trade in value due to the delayed delivery (late October) - they agreed to a value at time of delivery when we signed the paperwork. They are slowly trying to back out of the agreement.

no real problems 15 mpg around town; 20 hiway usually a 80 mph or so a piece of plastic trim in back had to be popped back into place just noticed the iPOD interface doesn't play playlists correctly - after the first song on the list it plays all the rest of the songs on the same album |

re going to the top and selecting ALL and then RANDOM?
Thanks Chuck - I don't see those choices in the menu on mine. I select AUX, see my ipod, then choose from "playlist, genres, albums, songs, etc." After that, my only choice is to click on the song I want to start with. After that it seems to be alphabetical, but random is what I want. I have shuffle on in my ipod on. Any ideas? Do I need to RTMF? get a software update? |

As long as you advance with the steering or left/right arrow buttons on the center dash, the random mode will hold. If you manually via iDrive controller select another song random mode turns off.
