I spent a huge amount of time comparing the two cars in performance, look, interior, etc. before making a final decision to go with X6 50i.

Frankly, I still see Cayenne interior sportier, cooler and with more control in general.

Cayenne GTS seems to have also a nice handling. Yet, the reason I went to X6 is mainly some cool features like HUD, xDrive, the great extended warranty and the waiting time; X6 can arrive in 4 months to Middle East but Cayenne can take easily 8 months!!

I ordered X6 with number of options: 50i, midnight blue, Extended Amaro Brown, Piano Trim, Adaptive Drive, Active Steering, Comfort Seats, Rear Entertainment, 20' rims, Active Cruise, HiFi Pro, Comfort Access, 5 seats, etc.

I am still worried to regret the decision to select X6 over Cayenne..

Shall I be worried?

Did you ever drove Cayenne ?? Try it, and then you'll understand that - there is no regrets

the older gts is slow as fuck, your x6m should have been whooping on it

GTS doesnt compare to the X6M ...its at par with the 50i .....but its still way over priced....so its basically buying a 50i but still paying for an X6M

I've recently driven a GTS and was impressed with the interior but not with the performance so much. The unique styling of the X6 wins in my book with the extra cash saved I can handle a somewhat "bland" interior, but I think BMW's X5/6 interior is very "peaceful" compared to Cayenne.

The interior of the Cayenne is significantly better than the X6, but the big deal-breaker for me was after driving the Cayenne. Porsche uses the electric steering on it and it feels like garbage. It is a total and completely disconnected feeling from the road. It reminded me of using an arcade game steering wheel. Super light and not connected to anything.

Coming from a 2012 X5 50i M sport driver.
