updating transmission software/disable NIC

Is this something that can be done remotely? Does anyone on the forum offer that service if so? Or would I have to get this done at the dealer?

I've been reading multiple threads and i've gathered that a potential cause of the hard thud/jolt from 2 to 1 could be related to old gearbox software. I also read that disabling neutral idle control & resetting the adaptations could help with this issue.

I have a diagnostic appt with my dealer this weekend, just wondering if anyone on the forum could do this for me?
