Something amiss in the tailgate

I have been to the dealer twice now for a noise in the tailgate that sounds a little like the door is loose. They have replaced bushings and tightened brake lines. I have only had it three weeks but it was a dealer car so I don't think the lemon law in Illinois applies. It was never titled but also not "new". Anyone else have issues in their rear? And yes I know what I just wrote but stick to the X5 answers and see you're DR about the other.

Tons of threads about tailgate noises. Search the forum.
Just put some electrical tape around the latch of the lower tail gate.

Check the plastic trim around the tailgate window surround. Its a 4 piece arrangement and there seems to be activity around the joins. If you push on the trim and it creaks and pops that could be your source.

I have also put grease on the D Latch (where top closer meets bottom gate).
