Pin Striping a 2012 Black E70 x5

I want to pin stripe my 2012 E 70 with Black Saphire paint.

Anyone have any pictures and colors they can share of pinstriping in general and some with the black paint. I also have black interior.

Was thinking silver color?????

Pinstriping how? Like an old Hot Rod? Because don't. But if it's just a small accent I suppose it wouldn't be too bad.

But if it's on black, do it in a dark silver, it won't stick out like a sore thumb.

+1 I respect if you want to make your car more individual just make sure you stay classy with it

No, nothing like a 50's car.
I wanted to put a stripe down the side of the car in shadow. Nothing that detracts from the car.

try doing it with vinyl wrap, see if you like it first or if you get bored of it just peel it off.

Talked to the dealer. He said "you want to do what?"
So that ends that idea. No pin stripping for me.

Why would you let someone else's belief of what looks good and what doesn't stop you? I have seen subtle pinstriping done on some very high end cars that looked great.

Find a good pinstriper, they will be able to let you know what they can do and give you ideas of what may look nice.

It is your vehicle, make it look the way you want.
