Confused: "Tune Thread"

Okay, so I know some of this info is out there, however, I have a specific set-up question for best tune out there.

I have a cat back exhaust and do not want to add down pipes.

I want a tune with the ability to convert back to stock for warranty and eventually sale/trade purposes.

What tune to do you recommend for the best performance gains and why?
I am looking at Eurocharged, VF Hex, Active AutoWerke.

Any others you recommend?

Thanks for the assistance.

All tunes seem to be very similar in performance, but can vary in pricing. I am an instant gratification kind of guy, so better customer service would be my priority.

I have Active Autowerkes tune and downpipes.

BTW - Why not downpipes?

This subject has been beaten to death, but the general consensus is that a company called BR cracked the ECU, created a tune and then sells it to each individual licensed vendor. From there each vendor tweaks it their own little way and then charges $xxx-$xxxx as they call claim theirs is the best of the best. At this point your best bet is to search and decided for yourself vs asking opinions because those who paid more will naturally assume theirs is the best of the best simply because it costs more...most of which have no real concrete proof. Until there's a thread created one day doing comparison dyno testing of tune vs tune, numbers posted on a website vs real world conditions could vary widely. The guy who lives at sea level in CA could get completely different results than the guy who lives in the mountains of Colorado, so until a third party who's got no vested interest posts something, it's all subjective to the buyer and the emptiness of their wallet.

With all that said, I went with a tune by an M5 owner named Lfundgren (sp?) who's one of a handful of guys pushing 800hp in their M5's.

No downpipes because My Fabspeed Supercup exhaust is awesome and anymore sound will wake the dead (and my family when I leave at 5am for work).
