Are you looking to extend your warranty beyond the 6yr/100K mile CPO warranty? I'm afraid you won't be able to buy any warranty products from BMW, as yours is already CPO'ed (there used to be the CPO-wrap that could extend CPO warranty by 1 year, but AFAIK, it is no longer offered). You could buy 3rd party warranty from Route66 offered through a credit union like PenFed or DCU - I think they offer the best value for money for after-market warranties.

Answer: Your dealer is absolutely right. The idea is that the process involves a procedure in which dealers cannot identify the tune is present and if you were to have an issue the car is flashed back to stock.

That's why you don't get a flash. You get a piggy back that you can plug in and remove again in 5 minutes. The Burger Stage 1 is very mild, about 40 crank which is 25-30 wheel HP. It basically does the same thing as the 450HP M-Performance Tune which was available on the 2013s. You won't throw any codes.

Thanks for the info, I was looking into that CPO wrap. I will look into that 3rd party warranty. Thanks!
