DSC, 4X4, Chassis Stabilization Malfunction

Has anyone seen DSC, 4X4, Chassis Stabilization Malfunction on engine start? This only happens if I let go of the brake early while the engine is still cranking. This is the only time this error comes up and I can repeat it every time. If turn off engine and leave off a bit it, the error doesn't come up on next start and car behaves normally.

If it's only happening in that instance, why are you letting go of the brake while the car is still cranking? I think the fix is obvious here.

Not sure I'd try this on mine just for the sake of science....

Yes, but i'm guessing this is not normal behavior? I assume it should just not start; not flash errors and require restart after turning off for a while. This caused some headache when it happened at valet.

That's a good point. How far into the crank do you let go of the break pedal?

I'd say about about half way in? Takes about 1 or 2 seconds to crank (brand few battery installed 6 moths ago). Now I just keep my foot on the brake a few seconds after it begins idling for good measure. Hasn't happened since. Not big issue, but it'd be nice not to have to explain how to safely start the beast to anyone I lend the car to.
