Stone Guard Film
Has anyone actually ordered the stone guard film from BMW? I have looked at various types of clear bras, but I would have to have the polyshield stripped from the vehicle before having the clear bra put on. I dont really want to do this because it was an expensive option. But I would like to cover the rocker panels and front of the rear fender since many have reported rock chips in these spots. I know BMW has this as an option but have read that their previous 3M clear bras did not work well. So if this one works better than previous ones that, I might consider this.

Don't get the pre-cutted film, they don't go all the way to the edges. I have had my chip guard custom cut by a professional and it looks almost invisible. Btw the Rocker panel on the X5/X6 is a must, it will save your paint
