How to remove trunk emblem on X6???

Use a floss to cut thru the adhesive thats between the trunk surface and emblem. Once you finish going all the way thru, slowly pull off the emblem. No skill needed - just a little bit of patience.

The BMW emblem on the rear is attached to a mounting piece. Is that piece held on by take as well? I thought that you would need to access it from inside the trunk panel to take it off. Can anyone confirm?
