Received springs, BUT......

Folks here, I have received my springs(H&R 1.2'' front 1.0 rear) for my baby, but again hestitate to put it on, because some people said the ride quality will be really bad after installation. Can anyone tell me how will the ride quality real be comparing with stock setup?
Thanks

I have installed the same H&R drop, and changed out the stock run-flat tires to Continental Extreme Contact DWS.

The ride does feel stiffer when you drive over speed bumps.
But that doesn't bother me since you are meant to drive slow at the speed bumps..

Normal street driving feels the same as stock to me..

I know it's a different car, but when I put the hr springs on my M6 it was a much stiffer ride. And when driving on freeway it was quite bouncy. IMO it was not that great. Not really sure how they are on x6. Hopefully not the same... I'm also considering on doing a drop on the x6///M but not sure which route to go either. Prob just break the wallet and go for coil overs.

I've heard mixed reviews about the springs, however when installed correctly I think most people have been satisfied. It seems that most try to lower the rear more than they should and this really makes the ride suffer. When the rear is lowered to the recommended height, most have been pleased with the ride.

I am also torn between the springs and the coilovers. I think the installation price may be close to the same, but the adjustable options of the coilovers is the way I'm leaning at the moment.

How about highway ride quality? I hate bounce.

Yes. My friend has done the KW coilovers and he totally satisfied with it. Go with it.
