I wonder if it's possible to code the new key design to the X5M
I have a few new bmw's and my x5m is the only unit with the old style key. I wonder if it's possible to code a new key design to my 2013 X5M. Would sure look better hanging on my wall. Or maybe there's a key cover that hides the actual old key design?

I'm pretty sure you can't, but I'm not sure why you'd want to anyway, other than to have the keys all look the same. The new key is larger and bulkier, which doesn't seem to be an improvement. It's a personal preference, of course, but for me, it's easier for them to be different so I can identify which key is which without needing a pinup board.
