does anyone programmed bmw e70 lci with oem key fob, to start remotley?

if yes what i need to do?

I had this done back in 2014 on my 2012 x5d.
I bought the starter module via codemycar.com
I can start my car through key fob or through my phone app. Phone app option was extra since it's an extra module that needs to get mounted under the steering wheel column. I can start my car from anywhere with phone app. Key fobe only has 300ft range.

is dyi thing or is installed by the dealer?

Car module was sent to me and I was able to install it myself. Module just needs to get programmed to your SUV.
