Anyone have pics of CYBA exhaust tips on there X5

I need to replace the exhaust tips on my X5. I spent hours polishing the stock ones but they are pitted and beyond saving. I like the sound of my factory exhaust so I just wanted to change the tips. I am wanting put on a set of these but did not know if anyone has used them on a X. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=281932

My X5 is Black sapphire. I was thinking the Chrome or the Black chrome.
Any thoughts?

Okay I guess will be the guinea pig. I am going to order the polish silver double layer quad.

I think the silver looks more in line with my rims, and also the only chrome on my vehicle is the X5 emblem.

I have seen the 4" single tips posted by another member on the X5 35 that looks great. My problem with going the single route is that the bumper on 50i is triangular in shape and not round like the 35 where the exhaust tips poke through.

The black chrome ones are nice.

Did you get a quote on pricing?

Yes. PM cyba for a price. I ended going with the Chrome. I will post pics once installed. I wanted the silver, but he is out of stock of those. I almost went with the black chrome, but changed my mind the last minute.

Looks great. Some people have said there is a whistling issue when split tips are installed, how do they sound?

Looks great! I've been looking for a similar solution. Looking into some Porsche Macan tips myself. But those look great, how was the install?

Yes, it did change the sound but only at WOT. The rest of the time it sounds the same even at high RPM. Not so much a whistle as more of a rasp sound.

I did not install these myself. They have to be welded in place of the existing tips. They did have to cut off about an inch of the tips on the side that gets welded. I did not want them sticking out far. For the most part they are very close to where the stock tips sat.
