Waste gate test

Tested my waste gates and they looked good. Thought some people would like see how it is done.

They closed at 9-10 psi.

Has anyone done a real good cleaning on turbos?

Look at the seal of the gate, how tight should they be.

Mine closed at -7inHg

The seal should be closed, so that when you apply further vacuum, it can close no more. Once it's closed try to nudge the wastegate flap to see if it moves in a circular motion. If it doesn't, it's good.
