2012+ N55 tune options for downpipe ?

Wondering what tunes are out there to take care of a CEL elicited by going catless downpipe.

I know Burger only has the stage 1, which doesn't clear it. And Cobb only has a tune for 2011??

What other tuning options are out there for a 2012+ E70 N55?

Cobb works off the VIN not the model year. I have a 2012 with cobb accessport ;-)

As such you can go to any protuner for a custom tune to eliminate a cel or work a better map than the OTS stuff

Ahhh I see. Why does Cobb only list for 2011 E70 N55?

What's a custom tune fro. Cobb cost?

A custom tune is performed either at a cobb facility (socal, oregon, or austin) or at an authorized cobb protuner resellers facility which are across the globe.

Price is impossible to predict as hourly rates, and dyno rates differ across the board. Best to call a few within a few hours drive of you to get an idea of their capabilities.

A-R-E-A 7-4* sells a post cat O2 "manipulator" for the N55 that works well with kittiless DP's. As far as tunes, I'm suprised the standard JB4 stage 2 doesn't work. I have a e90 and I'm not familiar with e70 N55's (I have a M57 X5).

A custom dme tune is always a possibility. But it requires removing the dme and opening it up to access a ground pin. Typically around $800-1k to have this done. I would send your vin to Cobb to see if they support it.

Great. I'll look into them. Have a link to their site?
