Radiator

I just changed out the radiator on my wife's 08 X5 3.0si. The new one comes without any drain plugs and it does not have a port on the lower passenger side of the radiator. So, you have to purchase part no.11537609944, which retro fits the line from the electric water pump to the oil cooler. Now it's just a direct line and the fork over to the lower portion of the radiator is blocked off.

I am confused. Are you asking for help or notifying a DIY fix?
If latter, a topic (with pictures) would be appreciated ..

Nope not asking for help. Just giving an FYI to anyone who has to put in a new radiator in their E70 with a 3.0. You will need to purchase an additional coolant host that runs from the electric water pump directly to the oil cooler. Of course you have to take the old one out. The old one branches off and used to feed the lower radiator. The new radiator does not have a lower port. It also does not have any drain plugs what so ever.

So, if you were to do a radiator flush, you'll probably need a brake vacuum, and the from there one would have to disconnect a few hoses and then vac out the coolant from specific vantage points.

I'm about to change my radiator and it's on order

Is that the only hose that needs to be purchased in order to install the new rad?
I noticed in the new rad setup, vent hose to the expansion tank is a straight pipe, and the upper hose no longer has a vent valve either. Do I need to purchase those 2 hoses as well?
I never replaced any hoses when I replaced the radiator. The new radiator did not have a drain plug(s) like the old one did. I thought that was odd. Other than that. It was a very easy, straight forward job.
