Whatchamacallit - loading sill in BMW X5 xDrive35D?

Let me know what you call the 2 sliding plastic sheets that fold flat, when you open the bottom rear door of a (2009) BMW X5 xDrive35D.

Mine has cracks, and I would like to know what my options are of getting them replaced.

Thanks, serge1, for the help! It's appreciated!

For those who know where I can source the loading sill cover in the GTA, please give me a holler - I need black for 2009 X5! Thanks in advance!

I did some more digging, and it looks like the loading sill cover isn't fit for its design (i.e., it breaks easily), so I'll hold off from replacing it until I come across a resale product.

Thanks, denaliman!

Oh yeah, the design is pretty bad.. The hinges are plastic.
I had mine replaced by dealership half a year after owning my vehicle because most of the plastic hinges were broken.

My hinges are broken too. Not fit for purpose. I hardly ever open the lower tailgate as a result. I want to replace it because I hate leaving things in disrepair. Same thoughts though - it will break again.

I was on ebay last night, and I saw several postings, offering aluminum loading sill covers for BMW X5s. Although the sturdiness is surely welcome, the materials looks out of place.
