I can't see the crack and I should prob check mine as mine looks as full of snow and road salt as yours does. I wondered when I put mine on in summer if these Vorsteiner pieces would be able to withstand frigid Chicago temps but when I left Vorsteiner a voice mail no one bothered to call me back. Go figure.

I 3M'd my lip against rocks and the harsh NY winter elements. But that wouldn't have helped versus your sidewalk. Please keep us informed if you are able to find a fix. Good luck to you.

I've had a carbon fiber bicycle frame repaired, it can be done. The repair to my frame left it hardly noticeable. The guy that did it pulled individual fibers from the roll of dry fiber, built it up then added the resin. Very clean, and strong.

Went to a bike shop in NYC asking $350-550 and 3 months for get it done...price won't matter but the period of time sucks..
Vin, how long does that take to fix it normally?
