Snow chains? Has anybody considered them?
Hey,
First let me ask you if it's even possible to put OEM BMW snow chains on an X6. Then i would ask if anyone tried them and how was the experience. Third thing would be if snow chains have to be mounted only on the rear wheels on all 4 wheels. Thanks! PS: Post pics if you have any pls! |

Fok the regular snow chains with their agonizing mounting sequence while your fingers are getting frost bites and your cel phone just dropped in the snow, while barely holding your pee in your pants, knees are aching, and cold and snow is getting into your socks, and nervous about the wife that starts complaining about missing the check-in time at the hotel in the mountains . .check this beauties from serious engineers from Switzerland.

dmlgc, it seems you never had the misfortune to change a tire in winter. Of course, you live in California, where it never snows. I am sure Canadians got my drift.
PS: Not really appreciated your sarcasm. PS2: Deda understood what I meant. PS: Bettermakeway, we might meet some day in the street. .no need to be arrogant. . . even if you drive an 50i. Actually, your nickname, lol, just reflects that. . . Last edited by akraptor; 12-25-2008 at 11:36 PM.. |

From where did you pull the bunny thinking i was arrogant with that?! Huh? I simply laughed at what that guy said. That can be a good thing for you or it can be a bad thing, OR it could be neither of them so chill. In fact i found you comments quite truthfull, as you made a valid point, but that guy rushed to judge you aswell. PS: I don't drive a 50i. That's my mother's car. I drive a 535d. So again you rushed to judge like a small child. PSS: Again you judged me based on my nickname. My nickname is just a word game and nothing more. On that basis, while you are at it, maybe you should write a memo to BMW and criticize their slogan of "ultimate driving machine". Conlusion: It seems wherever i meet romanian people (be it on threads aka virtually, or in reality) i get dissapointed. This being an international forum i didn't expect to find this kind of behavior and yet it seems i found with from a "brother" of mine. If this is the treatment of this forum i feel i don't belong here. All the best! |

What are you five? Get a life man!
I think that's why such forums have been invented, so that people that share the same passion in cars can help each other AND not for bashing and flaming other members. I'm shameful that a countryman behaves like that. It seems the Romanian idiocy and egotism can't be shaken off despite of where you ask for help. |
