Issue with call waiting

I'm having issues with my call waiting and am wondering if anyone else has problems. If I'm on the phone and someone else calls, I can't answer the incoming call. It doesn't give me the option to answer (it's not highlighted) and if I reject the call or just don't answer, my original call disconnects.

I have a Samsung Epic, but it didn't work with my Blackberry either. I'm not sure if it's a setting I can't find on the car or if I need to take it in.

Common problem... Sprint blamed BMW... BMW blamed Sprint... They said it helps if you update your phone. But the next person I spoke to said I needed to go back to an older update. I don't know. It just sucks that after that happens I need to pull the battery on my BB and wait for it to load up.

I have the same issue, however i answer the call with the steering wheel mounted button and it answers the other call and put's the original caller in call waiting...when you want to go back to original caller...press the steering mounted button again.

I have a similar problem. If someone calls me whilst I am already on the phone, it tends to hang up on my original call when the incoming calls goes to voicemail!!

I just upgraded to an iPhone and the call waiting works now. It must be the different signals the Bluetooth gives off per phone.
