Playing music from Ipad via blutooth in X6?

Just wondering has anybody tried playing music from an ipad via blutooth in their X6?

coz I don't have an ipad

I don't think it will work because I can't upload any information from my Samsung Wave cell phone to my iPad via Bluetooth. Maybe BMW might change this with their new Apple friendly package coming soon.

I have an iPad an never thought about this, I have nano plugged in. I will try it this weekend.

Great! Please let me know if it work or not? I tried with my iphones 2g & 3g, only bluetooth handsfree works, playing music doesn't.

Old idrive on 2009 models it won't play. New iDrive can stream music via bluetooth, so I would say 2010+ models only. Its called a2dp bluetooth
