Exclamation BMW X6 35d DELIVERY PROBLEM!!!

Dear friends, yesterday my dealer told me that there is a problem with x6 35d...there is no tehnical problem with engine, but there is just not enough engines for whole world market in this moment.
Suggestion from BMW German Central is to offer to buyers 30d(235 ps),because delay will be around a half year from order date.

Yes, I heard the same from my dealer And It the same for that engine in X5 so not only for X6. That was one of the reasons why I have ordered 35i.

And I said the same thing some time ago (heard from the local BMW dealer). And the reason is not they don't have enough 35 D engines to match the requests, but many prefer to buy the 35d, while the 30 d sales are not going very well. .

What is the fuel economy and torque difference with the smaller engine?

There is a catch...it is same engine 2993ccm,
but 30d has 235hp, 520/2000 Nm/1/min,consumption EU extra urban 7,0 lit / 100km

35d has 286 hp , 580 Nm ,cons. 7,1lit / 100km and it is twin turbo!
