Updated BMW Plant Expansion Pic's

Here are some updated pic's of the BMW Plant expansion.The first two pic's are of the expanded Paint Shop.This area is where painted car bodies will be stacked.I think once completed,it will allow you to wait longer before you need to nail down your color choice.The remaining pic's are of the future area of the new Assembly Hall.They are already pouring footers for the bld foundation.They say the new Assembly Hall is for the new 2nd Gen X3...I think more new products are heading to the US.I guess time will tell....Thanks! BMW has balls expanding in a bad economy. I hope they know what they are doing.

I think it's mostly driven by the weak US dollar.BMW is getting killed by the exchange rate: US dollar vs Euro.I think BMW believes the weak US dollar is a very long term situation.Plus,all BMW Plants worldwide are running at 100% capacity.BMW at the most base level.... needs more manufacturing square footage to add to production capacity.The US plant from the initial land acquisition in the mid 1990's, had built in expansion area land already bought and paid for.I bet we see some 3 and 5 Series built here in the US.Thanks!
