Brake Pad Sensor Came On

I'm supposed to be going back to orlando tonight but my cars going to be in the shop till next week, i'm thinking about taking my moms x5 but the "brake pads are at a minimum" light came on and i'm wondering if i'll make it there and back without any problems. Around a 300 mile round trip with a little bit of driving around for a few days there.

and i just realized i posted this in the x6 forum....woops

I put around 900kms on my 335 w brake pad warning before swapping pads. No issues and there was still lots of pad left when I pulled them out.

I would be careful. If you have a heavy foot I would say take it into the dealer.
