3 RFT tires and 1 non-RFT tire?

Hi guys, I recently purchased a 2007 X5 4.8i and they came with the OEM RFTs. It may have had a small bubble already on the left rear probably the day I took delivery but I didn't notice.

I am currently debating on whether to get non-RTF or keep going the RFT route when they are up for replacement. So now that I have this bubble on the left rear, and if I am leaning towards non-RFT once they are worn, is is advisable to start going to a non-RFT for the left rear for now?

.... and on the title I meant RFT ... and not RFT tire :-D

No spare tire but the used car dealer provided a compressor kit for all cars that runs on RFT. If running this 3/1 setup presents a safety issue, then I will just get another RFT for the bubbled left rear.

I'd just get another RFT (or 2).

Always nice to have a matching set.

Without a spare tire I never feel safe even if it is only one tire non RFT, I think you better stick to RFT and when you are due for a change of the complete set , change to non RFT, I dont have a spare tire, and I cant get myself one because I have got the 7 seats. Too bad I will have to live with RFT !

I agree with the above poster. Get two and gave a matching pair. If you want to save a little money, buy some take-offs!
