iDrive Music Import Question

I imported all my music from a thumb-drive. BUT it organzies it alphabetically and not by track number. Yet all my mp3's are from iTunes and have "01 Track Name" layout. Does anyone know how to change this?

I wonder why the iDrive does not organize these by track number!

PS - I figured it out. I was looking in the search and not just browsing the USB 1 directory. Anyways it works fine now.

I have not a clue. I just use an iPOD.

While the hard disc is new to BMW, it is a fairly old way of doing things and I doubt their software will keep up with the latest functionality to store and sort music files.

Batke, why are you messing with the thumb drive, you bought a ipod nano. no? plug it in and you have everything. I haven't even ripped a single thing to the idrive hard drive.

I only have 96mb left on the 16gb nano. I reimported all my Metallica & Wu-Tang to 320kbps and ripped all 11.8gb of that to the iDrive. It's sounds pretty sweet. I love how fast this iDrive generation is. It destroys the one I had in the 2004 7 Series.
