Thank you. I think you are right. IND it is. Just debating on the color. Melbourne Red or Glossy Black to match the trim. I think Glossy Black wouldbe nice.

not at all, on my MCB, i did color matching side markers with dark tint and I love it, if you do black on the red, it will be nice too, just depends on if u want more black or a thinner strip of just the tinted led lights

Agreed. I think I want more black as the trim is glossy black as well.

Sim-Sima,

Thank you for the compliments. I'm happy that it came with the LED headlights lights.

theaudir8fan,

Thank you for the comments. I just ordered the side markers (gloss black with dark tint) and the kidneys (gloss black). Kidneys should be here by the end of the week and the side markers sometime next week. I'll put pics up when done.

Hey, another question. I'm sure there's a thread out there but didn't want to search too much.

I noticed a few minor chips on the hood. Any good recommendations on paint touchups?

I just ordered a set of Continental DWS06s to replace the OEM Bridgestone's. The front tires are near bald although the rear seems to have held up. These are the tires the car came with when I purchased it, so not sure how many miles on it.

I've read nothing but good reviews about the DWSs and these are supposed to be the newer version of them. Any opinion's on the DWS06s?

1st off - love your ///M. I'm trying to think if I've ever seen a MR X5M in person? Anyhow, looks pretty sharp, and those LED headlights/coronas are such an improvement on the X5M.

I too will be ditching my OEM Bridgestone's, likely for the Continentals, as the reviews here are very favorable for that tire. Still, another review/comparo doesn't hurt so please be sure to post your thoughts once they're installed

jiggz,

Thank you for the comments.

As for the tires, they are being shipped to the installer as we speak and should be with them tomorrow. So, possibly going in after work to get them installed. If so, will give a review once ready. Might be going to dealership for a quick alignment afterwards.

I haven't seen too much on these reviews on the DWS06 tires. I've seen planty of good reviews on the DWS tires. So, hopefully they will be as good as the originals.

Ah, I sorta missed the '06' - are these a new tire? Sounds like they add some extra 'handling, wet traction, and wear' over the standard DWS, per the Tirerack website. Those sound nice…would work well here in Seattle where it's plenty 'wet'

Yes, from what I read online they are the 'newer' model of the DWS tires as the DWS tires are being discontinued. I could be wrong.

As for reviews, I found many for the DWS06 tires on various tire sale sites and they are pretty good reviews but I trust my fellow BMW owners on here a little more. Was hoping to find some reviews on the DWS06 tiers on these forums but I didn't find any. I guess there's always a first.
