I'll take some pics of it this weekend and show you how mine held up. It'll be a good representation since you live in the same type of climate
That would be fantastic! Much appreciated... I have to decide by the weekend as I just had my flares re spayed!

If you just has your fenders repainted, it's probably a good idea to wait at least 2 months to allow the paint to fully dry. If you put a clear bra on too soon, the paint will come right off with it if you ever have to remove the clear bra.

I thought the same thing but the body shop that warranty's the paint claims no wait period between cure and film. I hear ya though. Only other thing I'm thinking is will the new paint get chewed up during the wait time, it's my DD.

I had the clear bra on my 135i. If you do decide to get one I recommend getting the full hood not the half hood type! You will have a hard time keeping dirt and grime from building up along the edge and it will end up looking like you have a dirt stripe running across your hood. Just speaking from experience. I finally removed mine after a few years! Didn't go over too well in this hot Arizona sun.

Update:

Just got clear bra installed on Saturday here in Denver. Drove awhile to a highly recommended shop in Arvada. Holy shit...was this guy good! And get beat every other quote. He installed installed XPEL instead of 3M and I can barely tell it's even on the vehicle.

24" hood
Headlights
Mirror
Fenders
A pillars
Under door handles
$400

Will post pics once the snow stops...

Not kidding...all of that was part of the "platinum plus" package, which is $350. He gives you the choice between 3M or XPEL for the price. I obviously chose XPEL. I paid an extra $50 to take it from 18" to 24" on the hood.

Best clear bra job I've ever seen...
