Seeing as Terry is requesting me to run his BMS/Coolingmist setup for the sake of continued tech support and to ensure there's no conflicts, I'm attempting to sell my Aquamist HFS-4 setup for what I paid for it before purchasing the JB4 combo I'm getting. Once I sell my Aquamist HFS-4 setup, I'll be buying the JB4, BCM and meth setup...that's not being cheap, it's being sensible since I'm spending more than either of you. The S63 took as long as it did to get JB4 installed because we're BMW's bastard child and testbed before they ironed out the kinks and changed it to the S63TU. Logically the support we'll get for the S63 is 1/100th of what someone would get for the N54, S55 and S63TU for obvious reasons. Last edited by m5james; 08-20-2016 at 08:11 PM.. |

Another question you guys may, or may not, have an answer to.
Since I already have Stage 1, do I need to remove it before installing JB4? Does JB4 make the Stage 1 obsolete or is JB4 just an add-on to Stage 1? I figure I can at least reuse the harnesses that are plugged into the T-Map sensors...but may be wrong on that too... |

Congrats! If you havent yet, i most definitely suggest "blinging up" and getting the JB4 bluetooth option. Control and do EVERYTHING straight from your phone. I'm in love.

So is this product ready to ship now? I was looking seriously at this for my 335 but upgraded to the X5M before I had the chance...

Android as well. Terry uses Android products, so if I had to guess Android app is probably even better than the Apple one.

Thanks guys, kept checking the website and waiting for it to show up under "Tunes" but never thought to look under "Upgrades".
EDIT: Also, are there any official claims for gains for the JB4. I can't access N54Tech from work so I'm completely oblivious to what's going on over there. Last edited by mirob; 08-23-2016 at 07:50 AM.. |

Please note the JB4 Mobile app is available for both iOS or Android and sold separately via the iOS or Android app store on your phone. This adapter is not compatible with the JB4 windows interface. It seems to be the second link you posted but I could be wrong. |

I used aquamist, then i switched to a "Devils Own" tank and lines, which improved my situation but was still a goddamn nightmare with the meth flow, and still had a couple of leaks. Maybe my install was botched by the shop, but I just dont ever want to mess with it again. Extremely flamable and dangerous as well.

So, the BCM and the Bluetooth dongle are a must. Especially if you don't have to run any cables into the cabin. Anyone to report on difficulty of install? Stage 1 was a piece of cake, but I'm curios what a JB4 install entails. Last edited by mirob; 08-25-2016 at 06:49 AM.. |

Yes, i would most definitely recommend the BSM for higher boost and the bluetooth for ease of, well, everything. Install is cake as long as you follow directions. The only tough part was getting the ECU cover off. |
