Exclamation about h&r springs installation

hey everyone,

i was trying to get my h&r springs today. but its end up with one side 1cm higher than the other side. what im gonna do? i got the spring for x5m with self leveling. that is the correct one right? im going to take it to a alignment shop tmr. will it be fixed then?

If the drivers side is higher than you've it stalled it correctly. Unladen, the driver side always sits that much higher to compensate for the weight added when a driver gets in.

thank you

i figured it out by reading the instruction. i end up with put the rear rods in the front and did nothing for the rear ones. i got everything installed correctly and everything works now. lol next time need to go through all the papers comes with the parts first.

no pics tho. but it is pretty easy to install once you know how to work. basically, just get couple of screws off under the hood. remove the plastic cover on top and 4 main screws off from around the suspensions. no need to get breaks off and fenders off. it is all screws. make sure you do the alignment after everything is done.

good luck.

ps. im gonna post the pics after. maybe the weekend if have nice weather

for me i did the ak downpipes, ak full system exhaust, tuning, matte black wheels paint, vrs lip and diffuser exterior color reflectors, h&r spring and spacers.

i was suppose to get the pics today. but when i tried to put the front spacers on, my mechanic found the regional bolts are too short to put on. so im gonna go to the dealer and get the whatever extended bolts and gonna need it in black. so maybe the weekend, im gonna taking some pics with my buddy and put it on the forum. the ak downpipes are sick, once i put it on it changes everything. sounds super loud and sexy, even triggered the alarm of the car next to me. it also gives dramatically improve to performance even without the tuning. and the titanium materials makes little zizizizizi sounds all the times and explosions from the exhaust. i did the customize tuning, i havent did the dyno yet. but every time i floor this beast, i got 4 wheels spin and grap sound. around 650-670 hp right now. 1/4 miles and dyno need to be done in the summer tho.

thank you
