Anyone use Amsoil ATF for their transmission?

I've been searching and i can't seem to find much info.
Is there anyone using Amsoil ATF for their transmissions in their X5's? If so, which did you use and how do you like it? I'm about to order some motor oil and differential fluid from Amsoil and figured i'd use their ATF if its good to use. I have the tranny filter and gasket as well as the oil filter canister tool. Ordered a hand pump so i'm getting close to being ready.

I would stick with the OEM ZF fluid.

I have ran amsoil atf in my 335d and 35d X5. I’ve also ran petosin and the zf fluid. I did not notice anything between the them.

As long as it meets shell m-1375.4 you should be fine.

This is what I’ve used and it meets the M 1375.4 requirements.

How long have you used it? If I recall correctly, you have close to 200K on your x5? Does the "D" have a 6spd or 8spd? Do they both use the same fluid? Man, that ZF fluid is 'spensive! While I'm on a roll asking you questions....have you used Amsoil for the engine? If so, what did you use? I think I read a thread where you mentioned which specific weights you ran in the front and rear dif's.

I have over 202k now. I ran Amsoil for one interval in my X5, probably 45-50k miles and currently have it in my 335d. My cars have the 6 speed. lifeguard 6 and lifeguard 8 are bottled for each tranny but, not sure how different they are or their compatibility.

No I have not run Amsoil in the engine. I run Rotella T6 and Archoil 9100.

Yes. Trans, differentials, and crankcase have the Amsoil in the X5D. Its BMW and ZF approved. Virgin sample test and compare with OE fluid. You won't go back.

Transfer case in the X5D runs OE fluid. Nothing compatible.

Been on Amsoil since 38k in 2014 on this X5D. Now at 110k, and about to swap pan filters and refill again. We've ran Amsoil Signature ATF on several euro/GM ZF applications, as well as the X5D for a decade. Never an issue.
