Gents,

I'm looking to sell my 2012 X5M affectionately known to the Original Owner as Blue Beast and to me as Katara. I've had her for the last 3 years and around 30k miles, and, I hope, I've taken really good care of her. I've been out of the country for the past year and just got back so looking to shake things up. I ended up buying a new 2019 Ford F150 Raptor this past weekend and traded in my wife's X1 to get it. I'm now looking to sell the X5M to get her a new X3 or 330e Plug-in Hybrid. I love this car and hate to see it go, but I'm driving the Raptor and my Wife has been driving the X5M so I can't really enjoy her anyway.

I've been working a lot and so has my wife so no time to get her ready for sale. The X3 xDrive30e starts delivery in a couple weeks and the 330e not for a few months so not in a terrible rush anyway...just the wife angry we have two gas guzzlers. As it says in the CL ad, she has been in two minor accidents, one was a rear end at a light and the second was me being an idiot and looking at the camera instead of behind me to see the Trailer whch was too high for the sensors and camera. I have photos of the damage and repair of both and they are non issues. Ask me for pics and I'll send them asap (Though she might be dirty until I have time to clean her).

Nice X5M. If I didnt buy my M3 and buying a house, i would jump on this. Im located in Lacey as well. Surprised I havent seen you around. GLWS.

Thanks, The truck has only been driven twice a week over the past year till I got back from overseas at the end of January. We were primarily driving the wife’s X1 to do everything with the dogs so the X5M was only to and from work while here in Washington. Drove her last night for date night though...was thinking maybe I made a mistake getting the Raptor haha. F150s don’t corner or accelerate as well as an X5M surprisingly, wish the wife was okay keeping both.

I haven’t been measuring...she has been getting oil changes every 5k so probably too short of an interval for an issue.

Congrats on the quick sale. How are you liking the raptor? It's obviously a very different driving experience than the X5M, but overall do you find it reasonable around town? I'm asking because I'm contemplating getting one in the next year or so.

The Raptor is great...around town isn't bad, but probably a pain in a big city. The 802a Package is a must since it has the 360 cameras for parking in tight spaces. I just got through my break in period so have been getting on it more...this thing is faster than you would expect for a truck weighing 3 tons. The gas mileage has not been the best...I'm getting 15.5mpg combined. The Technology package is also awesome since it has auto cruise and lane keep...the infotainment is great also...lots of tech. Too many buttons inside though. I'm very pleased with the Raptor...no buyers remorse at all. It's also new to have so many people with dip in their mouths compliment my vehicle.
