Hi guys i am new here so first of all hi. I am Dob from jedburgh in the scottish borders. I have an X5 3.0i 2003 auto in black.
I have been using this forum for a while and thought it was time i signed up.


I have a few wee problems with the old girl i hope you can help me with.

2 weeks ago i was driving when i smelled a burning smell and the indicator stuck on and tail/stop light stopped working took it to a local garage who discovered a bundle of bare wires in the right side compartment in the load area.
He fitted a new rear cluster and removed some wiring for what he said was an external amp and hands free phone kit. He had the car for 2 weeks and seemed to have given up on me so i fell out with him and took the car back.

so the problems i have that i know about so far are:-

1- the front near side indicator is on all the time even with the key removed and doors locked.
2- the rear off side brake and tail lights do not work dispite having a new cluster fitted.
3- no speakers on the right hand side are working

I hope you can help me with some or all of my problems.
