How confident are you that this is actually a picture of the front setup? Maybe he took a pic of the rear and sent it? Could this be the rear strut? Upon closer inspection, I don't see the bracket/housing for the spring, even if the spring was removed, the housing would still be visible...

Someone marked a broken plastic piece on a picture but the actual housing where the spring sits is metal...not something that would break off.

I'm not 100% sure which is which. All I can tell is one pic has a spring the other doesn't. He thinks the rear is just air suspension no spring. Does the rear have a spring?

He is correct, the rear doesn't have springs. It uses the air bags as springs. Matter of fact, the suspension should be really similar to your F86, take a peek behind the wheels, setup should be fairly similar.

Garage List
2013 BMW X5M  [10.00]
2011 BMW X5  [10.00]
this kinda height can only be achieved by coilover setup on lowest settings which I don't see in the picture.
those are def not H&Rs springs.

looks like a custom job to me!

when u mentioned u looking for older X5M E70, I assumed u mean early productions? 2010?

Yes I'm looking to downgrade to a 2012 preferably. But when I saw this white 2010 it was advertised with mods so I was hoping for a H&R, Dinan, AC, etc. instead it looks like this is some type of custom job like was mentioned above.
