I heard about it during the press release but never payed much attention- it's just another mustang (or so I thought). It has a 5.2L Flat Plane Crank V8 that punches out 526hp at 7500rpm, and redlines at 8,250rpm. Track tuned suspension and has the new IRS. It sounds absolutely delicious, and how many road cars can you get with a flat plane crank short of a Ferrari these days? Best news is it starts under $50k. I just got in to an M235i and I am very happy with it, but naturally I am already scheming for my next move like any car freak. For anyone who is missing the aural and visceral experience of the E92 M3, this could be the ticket. It may not have the refinement or luxury of an M3 but it will certainly have the exclusivity and character, if not more so. Is the GT350 on anyone else's radar? I am shocked its on mine, I've never ever considered a mustang variant before.

It is an incredible car, i considered it for awhile but cant commit as i need four doors.
Although ive been eyeing the charger scat pack as my next replacement. its cheap enough i can hop into a well kept e92 M3 and have a nice coupe for myself ( sub $35k). |

I'm jelly that the BMWCCA Patroon Chapter will get a chance to take it around a track I heard. Makes me wish I stayed in NY for it.

I'm really thinking about just going the SRT route and fork over the extra $8K. how is it for daily use? and whats fuel consumption actually like? everyone who reviewed it got 21mpg mixed which is awesome for a 6.4l.

This, the ZL1 started with the focus on handling AND acceleration, the Z28 blew it out of the water, and this is looking to best it and further the pattern of american cars that handle well AND go fast. Unprecedented for the most part IMO (compared to decades past). In the past, they wouldn't even try. Now, they succeed.

That was me until this car and likes (z06) came out. Is it as nice as a Bmw? No and probably won't get there for a very long time if ever. Is it badass? Definitely. Does it sound awesome and perform? Most definitely. Is it a bargain in comparison to what it annihilates at the track? Once again definitely.
Different strokes for different folks. You have to give credit where it's due my friend. |

Ford is finally making cars. The Ford GT will be something as well when that comes out to the gp.
