2011 x5m window washer fluid leak
cars is excellent - 2011 x5m.. other day notice I have no widow fluid.. so i mentioned to BMW service rep as I had an appt on tuesday anyways
Now BMW always amazes me -- and they really did this time.. my service advisor just smiles and says do you want to know how much labor will be.... I was guessing 2-$300... Nope --- $600 -- AND he said thats just for Labor.. the part itself is about $150 -- lol thats insane! Any suggestions? next time I go into BMW I'm just going to pull my pants down b4 they get a chance to!

Damn, I've become so numb at this point so I am not surprised.
Maybe check out an Indy shop? Noticed you are in the philly area, there's a place in Doylestown called Zygmont Motors that specializes in BMW that's not too bad. Also got some work done on my X5M at Autobahn Motorsports in Horsham that was good too. Good luck. |

Doylestown is a bit far -- i know theres a local guy in Somerdale NJ.. I just haven't used in years bc last car all covered under warranty I'm going to find leak and use good olde Duck tape! instead $600 "just in labor" nuts!

I know BMW is aware of a leak issue with the reservoir tank. I think it is a drainage tube and when they get hot under the engine they are prone to just explode. I had mine replaced under warranty when I had my X5.
