2002 BMW X5 Warning Light....What is it??

I can't find this warning light anywhere in the manual, websites; can someone help? Thank you

The symbol is for the "Automatic Cruise Control" option offered in Europe.

It is also on other European models.

The reason you are seeing it is a software glitch.

The most recent posts that talk about it randomly appearing on the dash seem to be caused by resetting the oil light or trip meter, and causing an error that way, somehow.

You can ignore, fiddle with buttons to reset, disconnect battery, go to the dealer. up to you.
