DIY for removing interior trim pieces?

Looking for a DIY to remove all of the interior trim pieces. I can't stand the fake wood and want to replace it with brushed black 3m vinyl.

It's real wood ! Just thin.

Can't stand it either but just wanted you to know it's real.

For the steering wheel trim I think it's just some Torx that you access from behind the steering wheel and then it pops off. Worse case you you remove the airbag which shouldn't be hard.

I'll probably do this myself as it doesn't look to hard. Hopefully these links help someone else looking.

What you've found is pretty much it, some people have left their trim pieces on and vinyl wrapped them as is. I'm not sure if you plan on hydro dipping or not but it can be done
