I'm looking at getting a set. BMW ones are stupid expensive. Anyone used any aftermarket ones or know a cheaper place to get the oem ones?

$535 at Tischer (www.getbmwparts.com). Doesn't seem unreasonable for BMW OEM? You looking to spend a $100 or something?

My cost at the dealer is $515 plus tax. I was looking for the $250-300 range.

…but…that's not what they cost for OEM

Even if you found aftermarket for that price, wouldn't you pay an extra $250-$300 for OEM, over the life of owning the car?

Edit - I see quite a few aftermarket options on eBay in your desirable price range. I have no idea about quality, fitment, etc. Maybe you could search the forum to see if others have gone this route?

Others have gone this route ... with mixed results.

Aesthetically the eBay replicas are similar, but functionally, structurally and fitment wise I recall the feedback being that "it was a nightmare ..."
