Hello, I am looking to sell my 2008 128i. Basic specs: N52 Manual transmission Sport package “Year one of the one” Alpine White paint Black sport interior (manual seats) Comfort access Active steering iDrive 155,000 miles Clean title/Clean CarFax I’ve owned this car for a little over three years and purchased it completely stock. My goal was to modify this car into the ultimate street-friendly and track-ready but still reliable 128i. I really hope it is clear the time, care, and effort that I’ve put into this vehicle. With that said, here is the modification (and significant maintenance) list: Exterior 135i front bumper Gloss black kidney grilles 135i rear bumper Blackline LCI tail lights Ppf headlights Rolled front fenders 15% tint all but windshield 70% tint on windshield Light paint correction Interior DroidUK iDrive replacement (wireless CarPlay, backup camera) Induktiv wireless charger in OEM oddments tray Wrapped steering wheel and center console in 3M satin black Cocomat floor mats New OEM air vents Oem x1 euro spectacles tray New OEM kick plates Gut and detail New driver side window regulator Suspension Bilstein replacement M Sport dampers Eibach Pro Kit lowering springs OEM mounts/bushings OEM top hats and gaskets Dinan camber plates OEM M3 front control arms New front sway bar end links Brake Z4 3.5is front rotors E9x 335i front calipers Ferodo ds2500 pads all around E9x 328i rear calipers New 128i rear rotors and e brake RBF 600 fluid Paint all calipers bright silver Engine New OEM valve cover New OEM water pump New OEM thermostat CSF radiator Charcoal filter removed from airbox New air filter New cabin filter Liquimoly oil and OEM filter Liquimoly power steering fluid Oem coolant 135i exhaust rear section New fuel pressure regulator/fuel filter/both hanger seals Transmission OE Bmw performance short shifter Wheels Enkei Raijin 18x8 +42 Powdercoat wheels alien silver prismatic colors Goodyear eagle sport all season 225/40/18 Everything on this car is essentially brand new. The list above was all done in the last 3 years/12000 miles. It’s been my daily driver since 2020 and has never let me down. I’ve put somewhere around $8,000 just in just parts into this car and countless hours of labor. My background is in the automotive industry from dealership technician to corporate trainer; I say this just to emphasize that NOTHING was touched on this car without careful consideration and the highest standard for quality. I have a ~100 binder with the original window sticker and every receipt for this car dating back to around 90,000 miles I believe. I’m also kind of a nut and have every fuel fillup logged here https://www.fuelly.com/car/bmw/128i/...obfatz/1052483 In addition to the car as it sits, I have a brand new set of Hotchkiss sway bars (both front and rear) as well as all rear Ground Control adjustable arms that can go with the car, but they are not installed. Together they retail somewhere around $1,200 if I remember correctly. Thanks for looking. I am happy to take detailed photos of anything you might want to see better or answer any questions anybody may have. |

Great looking car! I also log every fuel up in fuelly, so you're not alone.
I'm disappointed that you're selling it now that I see you're in Fort Mill, lol. I have seen a handful of modified E82s around but it's always when I'm driving one of the other cars. What are you replacing the 128 with?

I rarely see other e82s around here, let alone modified! I’m replacing it with a wedding and house in the immediate future haha but hope to eventually build an Exocet or something like that once everything is settled with the house. I have a CT200h that I’ve “replaced” it with as my daily driver though. |

Interesting that it has Active Steering. It would make an M3 steering rack swap easier, though I don't miss active steering on mine.

And yes, of course if you wanted to lean more towards the track-oriented setup, an M3 rack would be straightforward and easy to swap in. |

About time you posted it on here!
I actually went and test drove this car a few weeks ago after I had already locked in a deal on a 2013 that was 13hrs away (I had never driven a 128 and figured I should drive a local one before I got on a plane). The pictures/description that he had on Facebook weren't great so I figured it was just a high mileage shitbox, but tbh it blew me away. Yeah it's higher mileage but looks/feels like a 50k mile garage queen. I was completely set on finding a car withOUT sunroof/comfort access/idrive, but still almost backed out of the deal and bought this one since it was so impressive. The condition of the car and the active steering ratio at low speed are just that good. Hell I still think about buying it every now and then. Great car, great seller. The hole in the roof is really the only thing still keeping me from buying this and selling the 2013. Oh here's a pic I grabbed that day she cute: |

Any “shortcomings” with all the modifications?

I’ve gotten a few question on these as well so to update the post; YES, I do have two key fobs (coded for windows and sunroof up/down by holding unlock/lock respectively) and comfort access along with the OEM BMW key fob case.
I do also have the original owners manual in the original leather case along with the iDrive DVD. |
