I've experimented with this , it's cool. Now if they would just allow me to send the street view and bmw would display it on screen it would true web 2.0. Actually now that I think about it guess it would be web 3.0 ( figured someone would correct me on this).

This is actually one of my favorite features and I use it all the time. Used it twice today. I am almost forced to use it more than I normally would because BMW has the worst navigation when it comes to trying to search for something by name which you can't do so I usually just plan my day where I need to go and go to google and look everything up and then send the addresses to the car

Strange, I typically drive to the same places every day.

Are you using the X6 as a cab or something? never heard of someone being so lost in their own town.

I use this all the time, too. Tonight went to a restaurant we had never been to, and our friends had suggested it...simply typed it in, and sent to car. Got there easily, and no wasted time typing it into the navigation system. Love this feature. Wish our other car had it!

LOL, I know I lived in Dallas for 10 years. Although I got by without Nav and a cell phone back in the day. Not sure how?

I use this feature all the time and with the new iDrive system you can make and assemble an entire trip with waypoints along the way.. love it...
