WTB: Winter setup wheels for X6

Looking for some help on a 2013 X6 I need a set of winter wheels. Considering a pair of 19's as 20" wheels could not be as effective as 19's...

I also have a pair of "style 128" wheels I could possibly trade (don't want to but a thought)

I see a pair of 20's on the forums but seller is asking 3K... can't put that much into a winter set.

I would be interested in wheels only to as I would purchase the tires myself.

I talked to BMW... They will cover any OEM rim with whichever tire I have... Aftermarket wheels are not covered under my tire/wheel insurance. This way if Iblow a tire a bend a rim the OEM bmw wheel would be covered and the snow tire would be as well.. Looking to get a combo set of 19's for 2000 for wheels and tires.

Would you sell the rims only? I would be putting snow tires on a set.

Wrong. Rear hub on an X6 is smaller than an X5. A rear hub adapter ring is required.

Putting X5 wheels on an X6 really is not a big problem at all. A metal or plastic ring adapter is used frequently by a lot of drivers. They are around $10-$15. The hub is not really load bearing, as much as the lugs.

That being said, I'd love to sell you my set of 21" winter Pirelli and OEM wheels listed! They will look killer on an X6 for sure.

I have OEM Style 128's 21" wheels on my truck now... To put 21" snow setup would be way to aggressive. I drive in NYC lots of potholes and I dont want to mess up snow setup.. I feel 19 or 20 would be more durable and make more sense. Thanks for the help and offer though!

Take a look at the set I have in the X5 classifieds. They come with the hub rings to fit the X6 rear, are in great shape and snow tires are like new as well. Price is in your range also.
