Does anyone know if the 3-seat rear bench can be retrofitted to earlier models or did BMW re-engineer something to get it to fit?

Ordered my 2012 X6 5.0 on March 3.....my dealer said week 14..first run...but I question it. Still no indication of when they are building. ORdered the 3 person rear seat...Black Sapphire with Oyster and Dk. Bamboo...loaded!

I orderd in desember and have first production also! I will get mine in june because of the shipping. But mine will be a 2011 modell....

Milhouse- if your car is built after April 1, it will be a 2012.

I am suppose to be week 14, I ordered my X on march 9. So hopefully the last week in April or first week in may I should see it.

thats is not true! I live in Norway and the 2012 modell is not launched before october 2011..

In US, the MY2012 for X5/X6 and a few other BMW models starts in April of 2011. The designated model year for most cars here in the US are almost always different/ahead of the actual calender years, at least for part of the calender year.
