X5 Wheels

So Im in the market for a used vehicle and a loaded 2009 BMW X5 48i
with 20" wheel option totally caught my eye. Unfortunately the price is
out of my range.

The 20" wheel / running board option really looks sharp to me and I dont
think its available on the 35i. Well perhaps the running boards are..
and although I spied a 2012 35i with the 20" I cannot afford that either.

So...I was wondering Is it possible for me to purchase a loaded 2009 35i
and put the 48i wheels / tires on it??

I did this on my 2007 X5 3.0 SI and it all fit fine, but as the previous reply suggests, the fender flares had to be changed as well. The 20" wheels really make the difference.

Mine is for sale so you can take a look out how it came out on tHe following link:

Only issue you have is finding a fully loaded 2009 35i... the 35i did not get released until Model Year 2011, prior to 2011 all X5's were 3.0 or 4.8's... IF your looking for the power of the 35i you either need to go with a 35i or go with a 48i... What is your price range if you don't mind me asking?
