F15 m performance brakes fit an e70?

Hey all, I've searched. Couldn't find an answer to this exact quesrion.

I've read the x5m brake conversion posts, the used calipers seem to be insanely expensive now. Even scabby looking e70 x5m units are listed around 2k, and would need a rebuild and powder coat.

I see bmw sells an m performance brake retrofit kit for the f15. 4 piston calipers on the front, singles on the rear.

The rotors don't look like the floating design on the 'real' m cars so I'm guessing this kit sits somewhere between stock brakes and x5m brakes?

Anyone know if this will bolt right up to the e70 please? It looks like it comes with rear caliper carriers, new backplates etc.

Thanks very much.

Yes. It's probably actually a better option for e70s than used e70 X5M brakes due to the hub size on the rear rotors being the correct 74.1mm vs the X5M 72.1mm.

Fantastic, thank you! I did read something about the hub diameter, this helps a ton.

Will any kind of coding need to be done? I saw someone mention that with one of these brake swaps the pedal was soft until they had it coded. Not sure if that applies to this one or the 6 piston stuff.

thanks again, awesome info!
