Oil leak on front passengers side of motor

Hey all, I have an 11 35ixdrive and it has developed an oil leak on the passengers side of the motor on the front. It’s been pretty slow, a few drops on the ground when parked over night, but I want to try and fix it. I got under it today and I could see the water pump had a lot of oil on it so it has to be above that. I am thinking bad vanos seals? Any other ideas where to look? I know it’s not the valve cover because that is dry, but I’m not sure if there is anything else in that area other than vanos that could leak oil.

I had a leak in the same area turned out to be upper and lower oil pan (X5M). GL.

Because the engine tilts to the passenger side, oil tends to go that route. Check around the filter housing just in case.

You might be right, there is oil around there. I will replace that one too. Thanks!

I would guess n55 passenger side might be the valve cover gasket is leaking in the back passenger side corner.

I ended up changing the oil filter housing gasket and that stopped the leak
