Which is more comfortable over bumpy roads & potholes, 50i( 21" 215s) or X6M (20")

Our roads are very crappy and full of potholes, speed bumps and other nuisances. I have the 21" 215s in Ferric and they make my 50 very bumpy. Would the X6M with the standard M 20" wheels offer a worse or more comfortable ride?

Thanks

Try some 20's without run flat's if in fact you are running them. 19's may even be better, more tire side wall helps cushion the ride.

+1
RF's give harder ride but then again if all you have are these kind of roads you may need the RF's.

But what about my question, would the 20" rims on the M X6 be a smoother ride than my current 50i with 21" wheels??

The tire with more sidewall height will ride better on rough roads.

The tire diameter is virtually the same regardless of the wheel size - the just lower the sidewall profile of the tire as the wheel get's larger. The shorter profile with a large wheel has less "flex" and rides rougher on bad roads.

If you want a better ride change to a smaller wheel and a tire with a taller sidewall.

Exactly the advice I was looking for, so they're both pretty much the same feel!

The 20's will have a slight better ride quality on a bumpy road then the 21s

Try deflating a little air from all the tiers, maybe 2 PSI since u might be on runflats. Might not be as responsive, but the ride should be a little smoother.
