what size and style wheels to go with
hey everyone,
i have always liked the factory 20's that came on the V8 with the sport package but i also LOVE the look of this style wheel also, the vorsteiner VS-310, however i have no interest in spending 11 grand on wheels. and there are some companies out there that are making nice looking wheels for about 1,000 a set. i know they aren't going to be the best quality but i am only after appearance. if i went with a thin spoked wheel like the vorsteiner i would probably want to get them in 22" no? don't you think 20's would look too small? some other nice looking wheels that are cheap: the niche targa: avante garde M510: avante garde M310: avante garde M550: Last edited by tylere7035d; 01-21-2013 at 10:50 AM.. |

As for size, I wouldn't go any bigger than 22s...but I'm content with the 20s on mine. |

I love the Niche targa.., don't know anything about the quality, or fitment, but a great looking wheel.
Also like th AGM510 .. Looks just like the 11k wheels you like. That said... Fit is the key... They must be the correct fit and offset or you will be forever trying to get the ride dialed in... And I'm most cases you will never get it quite right |

Not a bad price if you ask me. I know Niche has been around for a long time, but just wondering if you're buying a quality wheel?

Unsure of the quality of the wheels... Don't skimp on wheels and tires as it's the only thing that attaches your car to the ground...

Well, I must say after looking at everything in line like that, I,m liking the stock 214's best
Of course I may be a little biased Oh and if the wife is driving this mostly in town I would take the 22's out of the mix... Harsh over potholes, easy to curb. |

The M5/M6 wheels actually look pretty good on an x! But please do not get AG 310s. I had V710s on my 3 (same exact style) and I don't think they fit on big cars. I've seen V710s on a 5 and even that looked wrong.

Please tell me where u found niche targas that cheap... I've never seen them anywhere close to 1,000 dollars. More like 4k niche wheels are forged...

They offer cast versions as well. I got a quote from a local shop for cast version at $400/wheel and $1835/wheel for the forged version.

Not of mine since I lowered it before I put them on but I do have pictures of another with the same wheel/tire setup at stock height without spacers here:
and here is the same with 20" if 22"s are too much for you. |
