Wheel Spacers...
I called Turner Motorsports to order wheel spacers for my X5 and was informed that they will need me to check the size of the hub bore because some of X5's and X6's have 74.1mm and some have 72.56mm hub bore. Can anyone with a 2011 xDrive 5.0i with wheels spacers confirm what set up you have?
Is there any way for me to know without pulling my wheels off to measure? I want the 15mm front and 20mm rear spacers with 20" style 333M wheels... |

yes - all x5's except the M are 74.1 hubs at all 4 corners.

Performance and ceramic should not be used in the same sentence. Its a contradiction of terms.
Pads either stop really well and will dust and/or squeal. Or they are low dust/low-no squeal, and have no performance characteristics. Fact of life. |

So you succumbed to their marketing basically? It is the holy grail to have performance and low dust. Ceramic pads of any type are not a performance pad, no matter the manufacturer. I would take them over stock OE BMW pads any day though as those pads dust like some of my race pads do.

No, I didn't succumb to anything...I know exactly what I wanted and I'm totally aware of the difference between ceramic brake pads and semi-metallic...I wanted a low dust brake pad and "HAWK PERFORMANCE CERAMIC BRAKE PADS" just happened to be the name of the pads that I purchased.

Yes...the 15mm seems perfect for the front but the rear looks slightly tucked from certain angles...I'm thinking I should have got the 25mm rear instead of the 20mm...I can live with the 20mm rear though because the overall stance has improved.

The 25mm are perfect in the rear. Have them now installed for a month. Last edited by Z@T; 06-16-2014 at 02:56 PM.. |

I might eventually get the 25mm rear...I have noticed that the people with the Dunlop RFT's on seems more flush with 20mm rear...I have the Nitto Motivo tires and they don't have that block look like the RFT's

I ordered the 25mm H&R about two weeks ago and still waiting for them to come in. I will be just putting them on the rears and leaving the front stock.
